Our Mission

Miracle of Nature lies at the intersection of natural history and cinematography, science and art … informed by a sprinkling of poetry, philosophy and spirituality.

Our Mission is to celebrate and illuminate the wonder and beauty of nature and help foster a deep and intimate bond with the natural world, especially nature “near at hand.” It is our belief that an informed, reverent, and nourishing sense of connection is good for the earth and all its creatures, including humankind.

Central to our effort is the creation of a comprehensive and ever-expanding library of artful nature videos covering a wide range of natural history subjects … light-hearted yet educational video-and-sound celebrations suitable for online viewing by nature enthusiasts of all ages (our videos are downloadable and teachers are encouraged to integrate them into their own presentations).

To supplement our online sharing, we are engaging locally through multimedia presentations and immersive outdoor workshops, thereby nurturing a strong community connection while at the same time providing a real-world proving-ground for our approach to learning about and celebrating the natural world.
